LBCA partnered with Long Beach City College on cannabis courses for workforce training. Curriculum started in 2020 with an 8-week Introduction to the Cannabis Industry 101.
Curriculum includes Cannabis History, Cannabis Science, the entire California Cannabis supply chain from Cultivation and Manufacturing through Distribution, Retail and Testing Labs plus Cannabis Business Law and Cannabis HR Workforce and Career Exploration.
In Summer of 2021, Saturday workshops began for 102-level cannabis education.

Distributing bags of fresh produce, frozen meats, and canned goods.

For 13 years, the LBCA and its membership are the city and state experts of cannabis trade and tourism.
The Long Beach Collective Association is committed to safe and legal cannabis access through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and policy development with the City of Long Beach and State of California.
